As the low temperatures settle in this winter many of us will struggle with keeping our toes warm. Keeping your feet comfortable and in top shape is important to your overall health.

Eating warm foods is a simple step that can instantly raise your body temperature. Less body energy is required to digest warm foods thus leaving you more energy to stay warm. Though coffee might seem like a smart choice in the winter months, the caffeine actually causes blood vessels in your feet and legs to constrict which allows for less blood to get down to your limbs and warm them.
Staying on top of your regular exercise routine can be a struggle in the winter months. However, staying active is an easy way to promote better circulation to your feet and toes. Just make sure to properly dress your tootsies if you are going out in the cold.
